For as long as I can remember I have always been interested in human nature, in the workings of the mind and how it impacts human behaviour.
I am fascinated by people and believe that leading a full life is determined, not just by our physical health, but by our ability to connect to our emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing too. I have combined my experience of working in the Film & TV industry, across a wide range of diverse media productions, with my work as a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor to offer mental health support in the creative industries, as well as private counselling for anyone who needs it.
Having worked in the creative sector, I understand the industry pitfalls, the unique highs and lows, that working in these uncertain ‘gig economies’ can create. From financial stress, trauma, psychological exhaustion, insecure working environments, communication problems, dealing with nepotism and narcissistic personality types, bullying, substance abuse, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, loss, grief, workaholism, imposter syndrome, self-esteem issues… you are not alone!
I am experienced in working both long and short-term, with couples and individuals. I also have experience working in the charity sector in fertility, miscarriage and bereavement at Citypregnancy.org.uk, male suicide at HiSCharity.org.uk, and have also trained with starttheconversation.uk.
