‘The Cancer Conflict’ Documentary Grierson Shortlist
I am very pleased to hear that the beautiful feature documentary ‘The Cancer Conflict’ was shortlisted for ‘Best Science Documentary’ at the Grierson Awards this year.
As a relationship therapist I am so humbled to have had this role on such a special, longitudinal film, providing advice regarding wellbeing to the production team, offering a place they could come and vent some of their frustrations and talk through their challenges, Plus, I advised the film-makers on best practice in terms of contributor welfare, managing extremely sensitive people in dire circumstances, particularly on the occasions when usual communication broke down.
